SNAP is a 501c3 non-profit that dispatches its mobile spay and neuter clinic to economically challenged areas within San Diego County.

As you can read in the book, Maggie Houlihan was a member of the initial team that created SNAP, and she was on its board up until her death.
Staffed with California certified veterinarians and supported by a medical team and support crew, along with a group of dedicated volunteers, it offers low-cost spay/neuter services to community residents.
SNAP’s goal is to reduce the suffering of unwanted pets who are often turned over to the pound, where, if they cannot be adopted, are then euthanized. A darker fate can befall these companion animals if their owner chooses to dispose of the pet using other means.
Please consider donating to SNAP so they can continue their important work towards reducing the tragedy of pet over population.
